TERRITORIALS FINED
FOR NOT ATTENDING DRILL. (BY TELEGRAPH.—PRE3S ASSOCIATION.) PAHIATUA. 16th August. Mr. Hewitt, S.M., to-day imposed substantial penalties on defaulting Territorials. Two Civil Servants, who had never attended drill,- were lined £5 and £3 respectively. A farm hand, who had been previously convicted, was fined £2. The Magistrate said it was not fair to those doing their duty that others should escape.
