' LONDON, 15th August. ■The Daily Telegraph's Milan correspondent says that it is believed that the outcome of the mission of Herr yon Bethmann-Hollweg (German Imperial Chancellor) and Herr yon Jagow (Foreign Minister) to Vienna will be tliat Count Andrassy will succeed Baron Bnrian de Rajecz as Austrian Foreign Minister. The former is intensely Germanophile, and this change will signify a closer Austro-German union.
The Neve Freie Presse says: "Austria is being attacked on all sides. The collapse of Austria, would mean the imminent downfall of Germany, and therefore Austria must be saved at all costs, even to the handing of the'political, as ; w.ell as the military, direction of affairs over to Berlin."
