CAMP NOTES

The cup presented by the Commandant at Featherston for competition between units for the best-kept huts and lines, has been awarded, to B Company, 18ths, for the week ended 12th August, 1916 (huts 43. 44, 46, 46, 57, 58, 59, and 60). Major H. R. Ryder has ten transferred from Featherston Camp to Tauherenikau Camp as officer in charge, and Capt. A. Fairbairn has been transferred from the Canvas Camp to Tauherenikau as adjutant. Lieut. N. M. Weir, assistant-musketry instructor, has reported for duty at Tauherenikau Camp. SIGNALLING TESTS. The following n.c.o's and men of the 16th Reinforcements, Specialist Company, Signal Section, have passed all the tests and are classified as trained signallers, and entitled to wear the efficiency badge :—Sergt.
