MIRAMAR CLUB.

Tho usual club competitions are being played this yaiir, but there are no trophies given, so that the whole of ■ the entrance fees go to the club's patriotic fund. The second qualifying round will bo played next Saturday.' WAIWETU. On Saturday the Waiwetu Golf Club held their monthly button competition (stroke).' A win was recorded for A. J Hobbs (18), with a net score of 85. Otbei cards returned w^re: J. M. Dawson (16) 86 and Dr. A. G Jones (14) 89.
