CROWN THEATRE.

Enthusiastic audiences greeted the two first screenings of "Landon's Legacy" at the Crown Theatre on Saturday afternoon and evening. The photoplay is . taken from Meredith Nicholas's most famous novel. The clever • acting of the Irish versatile actor, J. Warren Kerrigan, was much enjoyed. He was ably supported by a strong cast of popular artists, and the many scenes of Peruvian life proved very interesting. The story, though of a strong tragic tendency, is blended with delightful comedy. The second episode of "The Broken Coin" ('.'Satan'of the Sands") met with a big reception. The management states that each episode is a complete story in itself. There will be special matinees next Wednesday and Friday afternoons, when doors will open, at 2.30, and the session will commence at 3 o'clock.
