CHRISTCHURCH, 10th May. The ■. Anglican General Synod passed a motion asking the trustees of St. John's College to " consider the possibility of permitting any candidate for a scholarship at the college who was rejected for military duty to hold the scholarship at some other theological college in New Zealand until St. John's College is reopened.
