CHRISTCHURCE, 10th May. At Addington live stock market entries of fat sheep and lambs showed a further increase, but there. \vei*« fewer store sheep. A large yarding of fat cattle came forward. The attendance was good. Fat cattle were easier; fat lambs'sold well at la-st week's rates^ store sheep showed no change, but were in good' demand ; fat sheep; were firm, pigs sold well, and there was a, good demand for the usual lines of store cattle- and dairy cows.
Store Sheep—Forward lambs 16s 6d to 18s 6d, ordinary lambs 13s 6d to 16s, cull lambs 9s to 12s, wether lambs 11& to 16s 9d, ewo lambs 11s 3d to 17s, 2tootli ewes 11s to 19s 4d, 4-tooth e-.ves 16s Id to 18s 9d, 4, 6, and 8-tootli owes 15s 4d to 22s 6d, 6-tooth ewes Ms 9d to 18s, sound-mouthed ewes 15s to 22s 6d, failing-mouthed ewes 10s 3d to 14s- 9u, aged ewes 4s 4d to 15s 9d. merino ewes (aged) 4s lid to ss. 2-tootli wethers 17s 8d to 19s 3d, 2 and 4-tooth wethers 17s lid, 4 and 6-tooth wethers 20s 5d to 25.s 3d, 6-tooth wethers 22s 10d, 6 and Btooth wethers 17s Bd, merino wethers 7s 3d.
Fat-Lambs—Extra prime lambs to 355, prime lambs 22s to 265, medium 19s to 21s 6d, lighter.lss to 18s 6d. Fat Sheep—Extra prime wethers to 24s 7d, prime wethers 25s 6d to 33s 6d, others 21s 6d to 255, merino wethers 20s to 253, extra- prime ewes to 395, prime ewes 24s 6d to 295. medium ewes 19s- 6d to 245, others 14s 6d to 1-js, merino ewes 13s 3d to 16s 9d.
Fat Cattle —Extra prime steers to £20, ordinary steers £8 10s to £13, extra prime heifers to £13 15s, ordinary lieifei's £6 7s 6d to £9. extra prime cows to £18, ordinary cows £6 5s to £9 10s.
Store' Cattle—Yearlings 30b, 15 to 18----month sorts £2 15s, 2-year steers £4 ss, 2-year heifers £4 5s to '£4 17s 6(1, 3-year steers £8 10s to £8 15s. 3-year heifers £5 15s to £6 10s, dry cows 35s to £5 10s. dairy cows £3 15s to £15 sc.
