"UNDER EIRE."
' "Under Fire" was again presented at the Grand Opera Housn last evening by Mr. Julius Knight and. company to a large and deeply interested audience. Just a. glimpse is afforded of the tragedy of Belgium, making New Zealand people realise a littlo of the suffering involved. Mr. Julius Knight as Captain Larry Redmond has a. fino part, and makes the most of it. Misses Lizette Parkes and Eileen Srjarks were good in their very different "roles, and Mr. Tsoyd Irwin ;is the: German spy showed realistically what England had to contend with at the beginning of the war. The scenery and effects are truly striking. The excellent work of Louis Kirn ball as an American journalist affords welcome relief to the more strenuous scenes, and a, notable character study is that if Mr. Atholwood as the Belgian innkeeper. ■'Under Fire" wiil be presented to." five more nights.
