TO MEET GERMAN OFFENSIVE
HINDENBURG'S PREPARATIONS THE STORY OF KDT-EL-AMARA
Germany's prospective offensive against Russia is claiming much attention. Hindenburg is. massing men and munitions, including the guns from fortresses. The .Vice-President of the Duma states that the mobilisation of every energy is proceeding steadily. Russian munitions are said to be adequate, and every regiment is well supplied with the latest arms. Around Ver.dun, it is stated that the position now is as it was before the last renewal of the German offensive. It is authoritatively stated that the Kaiser has suggested that America should sound the 'Allies regarding peace.
