Hughes has gone to Wales, i and will return on Monday, when he will have further conferences concerning the freight- and metal problems. Mr. Hughes has not decided on the length of his stay in - England, and hopes in response to invitations to visit Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Bristol,. Birmingham, and York, and would also like opportunities to address Labour circles and follow up the policy he will submit at the Palis Conference. This depends on whether his return to Australia is urgent ;qr whether he can be spared a longer period in England. Mr. Hughes attends the Sugar Producers' Conference on Tuesday.
