(3.30 p.m.), 317 tons, j Radford, from southern ports WIMMERA FROM MELBOURNE The Huddart-Parker steamer Wimmera ari rived in Wellington from Melbourne at 1 o'clock this afternoon, am) berthed at No. 1 south, Queen's Wharf. She left Melbourne at 6 p.m. on the Ist inst.. and on the way across encountered northerly winds. 'J"he sea was comparatively smooth. It rained heavily throughout. The Wimmera has 700 tons of general cargo to discharge here, including transhipments ex the Ivashgar, St. Jean, Baltic, Loongana, and Indaira. The passengers for Wellington were:—Saloon —Mrs. McDonald, Messrs. F. Rienks, G. V. Bowles, A. B. Strange, Bertie,, IT. Brooks, W. Pickering, C. McKirdj ;21 steerage. For Lyttelton: Saloon—Jlesdames Raftery and child, King, Bev»ridge, Misses Hargreaves and Corsbie; i steerage For Dunedin : Saloon—Sister Christabel, Miss Lowry; 2 steerage. For Blull: Saloon—Mr H.
