CHINESE RESTAURANT RAIDED

AUCKLAND, sth May.
A Chinese restaurant was raided by the police this afternoon, 24 Chinese being arrested. It is alleged that fan tan and pakapoo were in full swing when the police entered. All the occupants submitted quietly to arrest, and the gaming paraphernalia and a substantial sum of money were secured.
