At the> meeting of the New Zealand Educational Institute yesterday the president (Mr. H. G. Cousins) declared the following officers elected for the ensuing year, there being no other nominations, for their respective positions:— President-, Mr. W. Eudey, nominated by Auckland, Taranaki, "Wellington, North Canterbury, Otago; vice-president, Mr. L. F. De Berry, M.A., nominated by Auckland; secretary, Mr. H. A. Parkinson, nominated 'by Auckland, Wellington, North Canterbury, Otago; treasurer, Mr. E. U. Just, nominated by Auckland, Wellington, North, Canterbury, Otago. ■ Non-ofucia.l members of the executive: —North Island, Mr. W. H. Newton, nominated by Auckland; Wellington District, Mr. A. Ergkine, nominated by Wellington. For the South Island representative on the executive there were two nominations—Mr. H. U. Fisher, nominated by Nelson, Southland, Marlborougli, and Mr. O. D. Flamank, nominated by Otago. A ballot resulted in the re-election of Mr. Flamank by 33 votes to 9.
