SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM MR. HUGHES

LONDON, 24th April. Mr. W. M. Hughes (the Prime Minisfcer of Australia) sent a special Anzac Day messages to Australia, paying a tribute to " the heroic dead," and also one to Cairo, to be read at the memorial service there. In the lattev he says: "Their deaths and deeda will be sung in sagas to generations of Australians to the end of time."
