CLOTHING FACTORY DISPUTE

'BLACK" CUTTERS AT WORK,

(Received April 25, 9.30 a.m.)

MELBOURNE, This Day.

In connection with the dispute at the Commonwealth Clothing Factory, the political Labour Council has passed a resolution condemning Senator Gardiner and stating that two non-unionists and three Government inspectors do the cutting work. The Clothing Trades Union decided to declare the work of these men "black." This will probably result iii the Clothing Factory transferring its Government work to private firms.
