(>T TILEURAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A meeting of the Auckland Waterside Workers' Union, at which 600 were present, carried a resolution of want-of-con-fidence in the president (Mr. Wood), and removing him from office. , There were five dissenting votes. The election of a new president was deferred. Mr. Wood lias been president for nearly two years, and occupied the position of walking delegate, which was abolished just before the recent acceptance by the union of the open-door policy in admitting members. It is stated the step taken is not due to any opposition to arbitration.
