DAMAGES AGAINST UNION CO.
(Received April 20, 8.30 a.m!). SYDNEY, This Day. Mrs. Elizabeth Monahan has been awarded £25 damages, against the Union Steam Ship Company for wrongful de.tention of luggage. The plaintiff alleged that during the Moeraki's voyage from New Zealand to Sydney in August she lost a purse containing her ticket. The defendant, company seized her duggage.
