ARREST OF VON IGEL
bernstorff demands his release:
(Received April 20, 8.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON," 19th'April. Count. Bernstorff has demanded the release of Wolfe von, Tngel. and also the, restoration of the incriminating papers. ' The State Department has refused, contending that Von Igel was not a German Embassy official when lie committed uuneutrol acts. [Wolfe von Igel, formerly secretary to von Papen, was arrested 'after a fierce struggle with detectives in von Papon's office in New York.]
