I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that a Poll of the Ratepayers of that portion of the Borough of Karori described in the Schedule to "Tho Wellington and Karori Sanitation and Water Supply Amendment Act, 1915," will bo taken on WEDNESDAY, the 3rd day of MAY, 1916, on the proposal of the Council of the City, of Wellington to borrow (by way of Special Loan within the meaning of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913") the sum of THIRTEEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND SEVENTY POUNDS (£13,670), to be expended on the Undertaking hereunder set forth: — UNDERTAKING. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WELLINGTON hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to borrow, by way of Special Loan, within the meaning of " The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913," the sum of £15,330, for the following purpose:— Provision of a drainage system within tho portion of the Borough of Karori described in the Schedule to " The Wellington and Karori Sanitation and Water Supply Act, 1915." The Council proposes to pledge a Special Rate of twopence and one-twentieth of a penny (2 l-20d) in tho £1 on tho unimproved value of all rateable property within the area defined m the Schedule to " The Wellington and Karori Sanitation and Water Supply Amendment Act, 1915," as security for the said, Loan of £15,330 and interest and sinking fund thereon. It is proposed that the whole amount of the Loan shall be repayable at the expiration of a term of twenty-five (25) years, computed from the Ist day of July, 1916.
