WELL-KNOWN AUCKLANDER ARRESTED
ESCORTED TO A FORT.

AUCKLAND, This Day. Paul Hansen, a well-known land and estate agent, and an ex-Danish ViceConsul at Auckland, was apprehended by detectives tliis morning and escorted to the fort at Devonport. The Superintendent of Police, bsyond stating that the action was taken on orders from Wellington, declined to give any explanation.
