AUTUMN FLOWERS

FINE DISPLAY AT LOWER HUTT. The public. have learned from past experience to expect a unique display at the Hutt Horticultural Society's Shows, and in the case of the Autumn Show, which was opened at the Lyceum Hall, Lower Hutt, to-day, they will not bo disappointed. It was expected that the exceptionally dry season would have seriously affected both the quantity and quality of the exhibits, and though some signs of this are to be seen, the general excellence of the Show has been in no measure marred thereby, and the society is to be' congratulated on a remarkably fine display of exhibits, beautiful and useful.
