Almost from the time the Union Company's offices were opened this morning the building has been-besieged by crowds of holiday-makers, taking out tickets, making enquiries, and generally getting ready to spend their vacation out of Wellington. The company's officials have been kept busy all day long, and there 16 every prospect of the rush for passages continuing right up till Good Friday. !A large number of the intending passengers were in khaki, men re-' turning to their homes to 6pend a few; days there before going back to camp.
