MILK VENDOR FINED

In the Magistrate's Court to-day Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., delivered reserved, judgment in the case of the City Council v. Charles Jolin Duffy. The defendant was charged with unlawfully purchasing milk from a dairy which was not registered in accordance with the regulations under the Dairy Industry Act, 190 S. The facts were admitted, but a- plea of not guilty was entered, and legal argument centred on the interpretation of the regulations.
