GERMAN LINER. BLOWN HP.

LONDON, 17th April. The unarmed . British steamer Fairport (3838 tone), owned by the Port S.S. Company, Ltd., has been sunk.

The British ship Cardonia has been sunk, and the Norwegian steamer Musnastabb was mined and sunk.

The German steamer Hispania was mined and sunk in the Baltic. The crows were saved.

[There are two German vessels named Hispania given in Lloyd's Register, one being of 2266 tons, and the other 2581. The other vessels cannot be traced in the Register.]
