POSITION GROWING STRONGER. (TIMES (KB SYDNEY SDK SERVICES.) PETROGRAD, 16th April. The Finance Minister, speaking in the Budget debate in the Council of the Empire, said that since the beginning of the war the national savings had incroased by two hundred millions sterling, despite war charges amounting to twelve hundred millions, thanks to tie abolition of the alcohol monopoly. The
country's financial strength was growing, and the Government must work out the plan of a Future economic policy by co-operating with the national legislative institution.
