LODGE MEETINGS

The fortnightly meeting of the Pride of .Brooklyn Lodge, U.A.0.D., was held on Thursday. There was a good attendance of members and visitors. It was reported that the lodge is at present quite free from sick members. Accounts amounting to £22 15s were passed for payment. Bro. Mahaney gave a report of the balancesheet of the Druidic concert, which showed a good sum to be handed over to the Mayor's Patriotic Funds. It is proposed to pay an official visit to Excelsior Lodge on 10th Apri], when P.D.P. Bro. Austin will be presented with a P.D.P. collar in recognition of his valuable, and untiring services' during his term of D.P. The following visitors attended :—P.A. Bro. Boniface, V.A. Bro. Shaw (Island Bay), A.D. Bro. Potter, I.G. Bro. Borrows (Coronation), A.D. Bro. Middleton (Melrose), P.D.P. Bro Austin (Excelsior). They were given a hearty vote of thanks. Games of quoits, five hundred, etc., were very much enjoyed.
