WELLINGTON WATERSIDE WORKERS' PICNIC
To-morrow, at the Belmont Picnic Grounds, the members of the Wellington Waterside Workers' Union will hold their annual picnic and sports carnival. The sports programme will consist of thirty events; there will also be a tug-of-war, step-dancing to pipe music, and a baby show. The Waterside Band will be present. A trair. will leave Te Aro Station at 9.20 a.m., reaching Lower Hutt at 9.55 a.m. The return train will leave Belmont at 6 p.m. and arrive in Wellington at 6.30 p.m., and at Te Aro at 6.39 p.m. Further particulars are advertised.
