The match for..the Edwin. Feathers between Thorndon and Johnsonville. was played on the rain-sodden Thorndon green, and resulted disastrously for Thorndon. Johnsonville scored without intermission up to the sth head, having compiled 10 at i that stage. Thorndon then got in a four. The visitors then romped away again, and at the 17th head had scored 24 points to 10. Thorndon then compiled another 5 in the succeeding three."heads, but could do little with the green, and the visitors" appropriated'the feathers with a score of 26 to 15. The teams were: —Johnsonville: Mills, Wackrow, Morgan, Petrie (skip), 26. Thorndon: Staff, Cohen, Peterson, Thomson (skip), 15. .
