At the Conciliation Court this morning a settlement was arrived at in the Laundry Workers' dispute.
Mr. S. George Nathan, in conjunction with Messrs. Longmore and Co., will sell 8 building sites facing Lindem-terrace and Crescent-road, Oriental Bay, at the Chamber of Commerce on the 22nd February, at 2.30 p.m.
Messrs. E. Johnston and Co. will sell corrugated iron and building material at Banks's Meat Works, Ngahauranga, tomorrow at 10 a.m. At 2 p.m. they will sell, on the premises, Thorby-street, Northland, close to viaduct, the contents of a residence. On Wednesday, at 1 p.m., they will sell in their rooms new fumed oak furniture; and on Thursday, at 1 p.m., furniture at No. 16, Clifton-terrace.
Miss Harvey will resume teaching music on Tuesday, 3th February..
At 1.30 p.m. to-morrow Messrs. C. W. Price and Co. will sell, furniture and effects at 60. Lambton-quay.
Messrs. Blake and Co. will sell furniture to-morrow, at their mart, 53, Cubastreet, at 2 p.m.; also, tailor's stock-in-trade, and cabinetmaker's stock.
