William Simmons.—The emigrant ship Salisbury (Captain Clare) arrived in Wellington on the 20th January, 1574, after a smart passage 1 of 82 days. She' brought 250 immigrants. Mr. Carter, Mr. Caperon, and Mr. Axford (now of Hawkes Bay) were the first, second, and third officers of the vessel. letters addressed to The Editor for publlo*tion should be written in ink.
