W. B. MACINTOSH
It would be impossible within the concise limits %t this short article to give anything like a. detailed account of the various operations in vogue in Mr. Macintosh's establishment. Carriage building and repairing in all its branches is, of course, a special feature, and the range of vehicles waiting treatment conveys some idea of the versatility of the. busy workshops, where specimens of all kinds aro made and adapted to every Condition of locomotion. . . .
To meet the requirements of motorists, Mr. Macintosh hae added car-body building and painting and repairing to his already extensive trade, and his skill in this direction is meeting ■with, due recognition. Mr. Macintosh has been established for sixteen years, and lived for two years prior to that in Levin; therefore he is regarded as one of the oldest residents ■ot the town, and certainly ie a very popular one. He is captain of the Levin Boating Club, and, when occasion demands, can bnild an excellent boat. The facilities which he commands are quite commensurate with the importance of his business. The interests of a much-extended patronage are placed first in consideration, both as re' gards sound and finished work and the tariff of charges observed, and it is eminently creditable to Mr. Macintosh's unrelaxed enterprise that his productions are everywhere gaining in demand. The machinery and plant installed in Mr. Macintoih's factory are the most, up-to-date procurable, and represent >in money a very, large snm.
