(IT IIIIORAW—FUiI illOCIitlON.) CHRISTCHURCH, 21rt January. Several lines of new wheat, ranging from very thin to medium quality milling' have been offered, and sales made at Ss to 5s 3d for fowl wheat. A fairly large lino changed hands at 5s 4d at country station, said to be for milling purpoKes. Millers generally are not operating. They have plenty of old wheat in hand, and state that they are not prepared to offer over 5s at country stations for new wheat. New oats are offering—mostly very light. Some business has been done as the market is bare o£ stocks. Sales wero made at equivalent to 3s 3d to 3s 4d for Gortons and 3s 5d to 3s 6d for Dune, at country stations. For new oatsheaf chaff £5 at country stations is offered. The business doing- is purely local, as -Blenheim can supply chaff for shipment at a lower rate.
