An inquest touching the death of Boy Percival Kerr, aged eleven, whose body was found in St. John's Swimming Pond, ■ near the Karori Reservoir, on Tuesday last, was held before Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., yesterday. Dr. Henry deposed to having been called to attend deceased, and an examination of the body showed that death was due to drowning. Other evidence suggested that deceased had been playing with a dog when he slipped down the steep bank into the water. The body Was fully clothed when recovered.
