DEMAND FOR DISCUSSION OF PEACE. COPENHAGEN, 20th January. During the closing session of the Reichstag, members of all parties attacked the Government upon its system of censorship. The Socialists demanded that this "state of siege" should be ended, and clamoared for freedom to discuss peace conditions. Herr Liebknecht was repeatedly called to order. The Government, with a view to mollifying the Socialists, intimated that m future the German trade unions would not be regarded as political unions.
