WHEELAN.—On the 17th January, 1916, »t Christchurcli (suddetily), Katharine, beloved wife of the late Johrt Wheelan. 56th and 18th Regiments. K.I.P. Gone, but not forgotten. CHAPMAN.—On the 20th January, 1916, at Petone, John Chapman, second son of the late James Chapman (late of Aro-street), "accidentally killed whilst shunting. MACKKNZIE.—On the 21st January, at Wellington Hospital, Christina Mackenzie, of 15, Rintoul-street, Newtown. widow of the late Peter Mackenzie, of Edinburgh, Scotland; aged 59 years.
