Satisfactory patronage is being accorded the well varied programme at this house. Kalem's three-act feature-, The First Commandment," discloses a powerful story of real life enacted by the well-known favourites of the screen, Tom Moore and Marguerite Courtot. There is a, Vitagraph comedy entitled " Boobley's Baby," in which the comedian Sydney Drew is responsible for much laughter The Topical Budget shows the Allied reinforcements landing at Salonika, and many war scenes of great interest. The Eclair filming of Constantinople is very comprehensive j and interesting. The Lubin four-act photo-play, " The Valley of the Lost Hope," will form the attraction for next week. This drama of the wild mining day 3in California is adapted from the story by Shannon Fife, and is claimed to provide some unusually powerful thrills and many excellently staged scenes of realism and romance. A noteworthy incident is a terrific head-on collision between two huge locomotives. The star is Romaine Feilding, well known as one of America's foremost film players.
