AUCKLAND, This Day. A fire in Rutland-street earty this morning completely gutted a threestorey brick building, owned by James Webster, contractor and builder. Mr. Webster occupied the ground floor, a local furniture firm had a small quantity of goods on the second floor, while the third floor was occupied by the Garrison Artillery Band and Auckland Mounted Rifles. Band, which jointly lost their music and instruments, valued at £250, but partly insured. Mr. Webster's insnrance on the building and contents of the first floor was £2500 in the Queensland Office.
