THE WEATHER

There has been a clouding over of blue skies, but the barometer has remained about normal, with variable breezes prevailing. Dull and misty weather has been experienced, especially southwards of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, and scattered rain has fallen. The. indications are for cloudy and overcast conditions at times, with misty rain in many parts of the country. The prevailing winds are likely to be easterly northwards of Westport and Ksikoura, and south-easterly elsewhere, moderate to strong generally in force.
