NEW AUCTIONEERING FIRM

Messrs. Braid and Wallace, fruit and produce auctioneers, have just secured the premises in Wakefield-street lately occupied by H. Price, and Co. The building consists of three floors of large area, and well lighted, and the building is in the block occupied mainly by fruit and produce firms. It will be known in future as the New Market Buildings, and will house a new firm. Mr. Braid is well known in the trade having been managing auctioneer with Griffiths and Co., Ltd., Wellington. Before coming to Wellington he was engaged as manager in live stock undertakings in the north, and is thoroughly conversant. with the auctioneering business from his youth. Mr. A. G: Wallace, the other partner, was for eight ye.ars managing auctioneer for Thompson Bros., Ltd., Wellington. He was formerly with Bisley Bros., livestock, land, and general auctioneers, Nelson.
