(The High Commissioner reports-:— LONDON, 7th Jan., 12.10 p.m. The Admiralty announces that a submarine sank off Texel Island on Thursday The crew was rescued by a Dutch cruiser. .
[Texel Island is at the entrance of the Zuyder Zee. It is separated from the mainland by a narrow strait, called the Marsdiep.] j
