The Poneke Lodge, U.A.0.D., held its fortnightly meeting last evening, Bro. Eaton, A.D., presiding. Three- brothers were declared on the sick fund. A letter was received from the National Service League re forming a patriotic league. It was resolved that the lodge was in entire sympathy with the movement and waited further particulars. The oftice of V.A.B. having become vacant Bro. Canning, on a ballot, was declared duly elected. Bro. Simpson, a newly-elect-ed member, at the request of the lodge, ivas elected pianist. Smokers of mild tobaccos and high rrraclo mixtures ore. advised to try a tin of Light Prsased Golden Eagle. It is of special manufacture and quality. Is tin. Advt.
