INTERCESSION DAY

ECHO OF LORD ROBERTS'S- VOICE,

LONDON, 3rd January. A crowded intercession service was held at St. Paul's, the Bishop of London (Dr. Ingram) preaching a most impressive sermon. He referred to the ghastly crimes in Armenia, and the tor;pedoirig of the Persia, and urged the need for British preparedness and efficiency. He recalled the warnings of Lord Roberta, who lies buried in St. Paul's.-and concluded: "After the day of victory, Britain must bo worthy of a great place in the world."
