BERLIN, 3rd January. • A German official message states that, troops attacked between La Bassee and Bethnne on a wide front. The occupants of one enemy trench were buried by an explosion of a mine. Some were shot and the others fled. i The French artillery shelled Lutterbach, killing a girl and wourjding women and children.
