For the second day's racing there was again a large attendance, considering the showery weather The totalisator put through for the day £19,675, as against £16,274 last year, making a total for the meeting of £38,861, as against £33,305 last year. Strathmore Hack Handicap, five furlongs.—l Bisogne, 9.2, 1; 2 Bivouac, 9.4, 2; 3 Flying Camp, 8.2, 3. Also started : 4 Martingale 8.4. Won easily. Time, lmin 3sec. Malone Memorial Handicap, eight furlongs and a-half.—3 Avon Park, 8.3, 1 ; 2 Inem.-u.-8.10, 2; 6 King C-hiara, 7.2, 3. Also started : 1 Crawford 8.7, 5 Lady Middleton 8.5, 4 Ratana 7.10, 7 Ngapoto 6.10, 8 Royal Dragoon 6.7, 9 Royal Simon 6.7 Won by a length. Time, lmin 51sec. Ladies' Purse Hack Handicap, seven furlongs.—l White Blaze, 10.13, 1; 3 Leah Kleshna, 10.0, 2; 2 Waioture, 1010, 3.
