AUSTRIANS RETREAT BEFORE MONTENEGRINS.
LONDON, 31st December
A Montenegrin communique says :— After three days of fierce fighting, during which several thousand shells were fired by the forts and warshius at Cattaro, we compelled the Austrians to retreat. Our troops are pursuing.
