Dr. Raphael M-Idola, Professor of Organic Chemistry in the University of London since 1912, died in London on 16lh November, at the age of 66 years. He was one of the most distinguished chemists in the world. He was the discoverer of many new products and processes in the making of coal-tar dyes, was an officer and member of many scientific societies, and had written much on chemical subjects.
