VISIT TO THE ABANDONED CAMPS.
-, LONDON, 31et December. •'.A German wireless message states that a correspondent of the Lokal Anzeiger, visited the abandoned camps at Anafarta and the dopots at Kemikhliman. He states that everywhere there' wero signs of a hurried retreat, there being many unburied dead soldiere, also enormous quantities of preserved . meat, bacon, flour, and rubber tires. Suvla Bay presented a wonderfuf picture. There were four stranded British transports, and depots filled, to the ceiling with stores. The Turks aro counting the booty, and are finding ammunition which was thrown into the water.
