mNVJ e t^P^V**?' aPPe^red before Mr. W.-G. Riddel], S.M., in the Magistrate's Court this morning. Four were first offenders, and they were dealt with ;n rhe usual manner. William Tierney, a. vcr\> old-offender, was fined 40s, with ihe alternative of a week's imprisonment, and a-prohibition order was issued against him. Joseph Keys was fined 20s, v.ilh the option of- going to gaol for three days. James Cameron was ordered' to pay a fine of 40s, or go to gaol for seven days. Alexander M'Phee was similarly dealt with, and a prohibition order was issued against him.
