ONSLOW AFFAIRS
At a meeting of the Onslow Borough Council on Thursday there were present the Mayor (Mr. C. C. Crump) and Councillors Gardner, Brown.. Rule, Bowden, Dale, Bndd, Appleton, Smith, and Palmer.
As .a result of a long controversy over the accuracy of the minutes, it was decided that in future all motions moved must be handed in in writing and signed by the mover.
Accounts amounting to £94 8s were passed for payment.
The dog registration fee was fixed at 2s 6d for "working" dogs and 5s for "ordinary" dogs. The fee is payable at the borough ofiices in Wellington. The ranger v.-as appointed collector at Is per dog.
Christmas holidays were fixed as under :—Roadmen, Christmas Eve to 6th January ; office assistant, Christmas Eve to 7th January; borough clerk, Christmas Eve to 13th January. % The next meeting of the council Vas fixed for 20th January*
