PLOT AGAINST CANADIAN RAILWAYS

A GERMAN'S CONFESSION.

OTTAWA, 16th December.

Johannes yon Koolbergen has declared in an affidavit that he was the agent of a German plot to destroy the Canadian Pacific Railway tunnels and bridges. He gave the plot away to the officials of the railroad and the Government of Vancouver. He arranged a scheme by which the Germans paid for the fictitious destruction of the tunnels, and implicated Baron yon Brinckensen, C. C. Crowley, Margaret Corbell, ConsulGeneral Bogg, and all the German Consulate at San Francisco.
